I think calling Gran Torino a gang movie is stretching it a little.
But so be it. It was a great flick.
Warriors will always be #1 for me.
And one of the things I always find amusing about it, is what happens--I am asking you to answer this question out loud to yourself when you read this--what is ALWAYS the first response you get when Warriors enters a conversation?
LOL....yep: "Waaariii-oorrrrs.....come out and plaaa-aaay!"

Warriors is one of my all time favorite movies. So many great sequences in it. I remember when that movie came out (I was still in grade school), there was reports of violence in movie theaters that were playing it, one dude got shot and killed.
I really like the opening sequence, that haunting music and the wonder wheel.
