Yeah I agree with everybody else, CGI sucks. It's like the prequel star wars movies, George Lucas used waaayyy too much CGI in those movies. A little CGI mixed with live sets and live action shots is cool, but movie makers today go over the top with it.

The Star Wars prequels just look bad because of the defined look of the originals, even the special edition CGI changes. The only ret-con that can even work is in the 19 years between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, the Empire ran things into the ground enough. The problem isn't the use of CGI, it is the way CGI is used and how cheap it looks sometimes.
