I thought they were all bad, except Bowfinger.

"Trading Places" is by far my favorite, and I'd have to go with "48 Hours" and "The Nutty Professor" after that.

TRADING PLACES is his best movie.

COMING TO AMERICA is also great.

And 48 HOURS was loads of fun too.

BEVERLY HILLS COP has not aged well.

If there has ever been a single performer in Hollywood who needs to fire his agent, it's Eddie Murphy. One of the funniest, most talented comedians of all time, and his movie career for the past 25 years has been a string of embarrassments.

Trading Places. But I'm going to go against common wisdom and also say I like Harlem Nights.

Trading places, just the business aspect of it alone, especially the end at the stock exchange. That scene confused me to what was happening for a long time, until I read on the Internet some commodities broker explain what happend. Coming to America a very close second.

TRADING PLACES is flawless in its writing and final edit. The story makes perfect sense from beginning to end.

COMING TO AMERICA is almost perfect. The last 5 minutes of the movie don't work. The girl basically tells the prince to take a hike and storms off the subway. Resigned to his fate, the prince goes back to his home country and agrees to wed daddy's choice. He lifts the veil, and there is his dream girl. The king's change of heart is briefly explained. The girl's never is. It's not a huge gaping plot hole, but it is enough of a hole to cause a bump. The movie needed another scene to explain this.

It's hard to pick a favorite for me because I think he's had some really great movies...and I have to remember I saw most of them in the theater. I can remember Coming to America but couldn't catch all the lines from the laughter in the audience.

Anyway, someone else mentioned Distinguished Gentlemen...LOVE this movie.

And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Donkey in Shrek. LOVE DONKEY!!!

Coming to America. If I'm flipping through the channels and I see that, I will always watch it. It's one of those movies I can recite nearly in its entirety.
