I love true stories, and some are so exciting they should be made into films.... Id like it to be exclusively made about Eugene Bullard , the first black American combat pilot, he was loosely mentioned in Flyboys movie but theres so much to this mans life that it deserves a space of its own and Id love to write the story or screenplay to show his full life and achievements.. and starring.. and actor who has to be fit to play the life of this man Bullard... Ill have to go for Denzel Washington.. but so many to choose from.. and what a story ... IMDb: Black Male Actors - a list by d_osborn

I know of two World War II stories that could be interesting:

1) Hedy Lamarr, claimed by many to be the most beautiful woman ever seen in films, also was a brilliant woman and an inventor. Read about her co-creation of frequency hopping here, as well as her escape from Nazi Germany: Hedy Lamarr - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

2) Jack Benny and George Burns~huge stars at the time, just as they would be in the future~were accused of jewelry smuggling in April 1939. When I compared the dates, I realized that it was near the same date as when the Nazis demanded that Jews begin wearing the yellow star. I have a hunch that they smuggled the gems in order to raise money to help people escape from Nazi Germany. I've tried researching this and didn't come up with anything; however, I still feel that this was the reason for what they did.
a) Jack Benny Pays $10,000 Fine, Escapes Jail (4/5/39)
b) The pro-Hitler maid who nearly killed George Burns’ career | Hollywood Essays ~ This article has more information and still makes me think that the jewelry wasn't intended for wives but to be sold to raise money for the goal I described.
