Oh black day! Horror of all horrors.

From playing the Mummy and Dracula in the 50's, to the greatest horror film ever- the Wicker Man- to his roles in the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, he was the greatest cult film actor ever, period!

The man was also an accomplished fencer, and secret agent in WWII, who was known to argue with directors over the sound it makes when you stab someone.

The end of an era. Farewell old friend, farewell.

Rhapsody was one of his favorite groups, so much so that he shared his magnificent voice in this song:

Many of his activities in WWII are still classified. Very interesting guy. Great actor, but the details of his life outside the movies are even more intriguing.
