I honestly don't know on this one. The problem with DC is that they are trying to be too dark in look and tone. That and now the look of the Joker is done wrong twice in a row in film. Don't get me wrong, he sounds like the Joker, but the tattoos are too on the nose for me. I can see Harley having some, not Mr. J.

Actually, that's one thing DC is doing right! With the exception of two solo Captain America films, the Marvel flicks are blurring into each other thanks to bad dialogue, formulaic plotting and throwaway villains. I still cannot believe what a joke Ultron was. He was Tony Stark on stilts, covered over with foil. The movie was too predictable (not to mention some bad editing and pacing) and you never had the feeling they were in any real danger.

Suicide Squad has to be a dark, gritty movie. They have the right director for the job, too (David Ayer)! The DC Cinematic Universe is upon us.

I was pleasantly surprised at this trailer. The movie looks like it might actually be good.

I'm still not sold on the whole Nosferatu Joker, but Jared Leto is a great actor. If anyone can pull it off, he can.

Yep. My thoughts exactly. Bad pacing, bad dialogue, no tension, and a plot whose central point made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Age of Ultron was a 3 hour video game interspersed with moments of bad dialogue. The only part of the movie that engaged me at all was the farm. Pretty sad when the super heroes hanging out at the farm is the best part of your movie.

I don't mind Ayer, I just think this is too off beat to the standard movie fan. Five/ten years ago Will Smith would have carried this movie, now he can't after a series of bombs. The rest of the cast aren't that known. That don't mean it can't work, super hero movies don't need true superstars to make a movie work all the time. It just is a harder sell as it is based on mostly b or c-level villains with Harley Quinn being the biggest name. It is like Marvel doing Guardians of the Galaxy as their second movie after Iron Man, not Incredible Hulk.

The generally accepted theory is he got his teeth knocked out by Batman at some point. I don't mind that, the tattoos, I do though.

The Joker always liked zombie-esque though with being pasty white and skinny for the most part.
