There is this movie I believe it was 70s, early 80s, most likely 70s.
The plot involves this protagonist (believe his name was David) and he moves to a new school and makes friends with the popular crowd, some of whom torment a group of geeks.
I believe he ends up sticking up for the geeks and in retaliation, some of the popular kids lower a car on his legs, crushing them.
He ends up killing the popular guys one by one. Then, in a weird plot twist, the geeks end up assuming power and he ends up killing them one by one.
I think the movie ends with him blowing himself up.
I only saw it once when I was a kid, but obviously it has stuck in my head. I could never remember the name.
