Both excellent choices.

Is there a difference between soundtrack and score? I ask because Forrest Gump has a great soundtrack but I'm not sure it's the same thing.

Great one. That's Vangelis. They also did the musical scores for Bladerunner and The Bounty and 1492 (and probably lots of others) - very evocative and really set the mood for all those movies.

Vangelis is one guy: Evangelos Papathanassiou. "Vangelis" is the tweak of his first name. He's scored many films, and also has many great albums of original music to his credit.

When it comes to film music, there is Ennio Morricone, and there is everyone else. A great light has gone out of the world.
