One of those things that hit me out of nowhere, didn't even know this movie was in the pipeline.

Seems like another Mummy reboot starring my favorite actor Tom Cruise, going back to horror!

Mummy Set Photos Featuring Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis

Filming has started on Universal Pictures‘ The Mummy in Oxford, England and we’ve got your first look at the set. You can view The Mummy set photos, featuring Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis, using the gallery below!

Also starring in the June 9, 2017 release are Sofia Boutella (Kingsman: The Secret Service), who is playing the title monster in the film, and Jake Johnson (“The New Girl,” Jurassic World). The storyline is expected to be set in modern day with Cruise’s character to be a special forces soldier.

Stop with the So-In-Ept nonsense, already. No more money goes to these movies until the Gill Man returns.

Cruise is decent but I liked the first one getting tired of all the remakes.

I don't like him and also agree that remakes represent lazy filmmaking. Think how many fresh scripts are out there! This has always perplexed me.

This role surprises me; seems he's taking a nosedive in his career. Read yesterday that he's also moving to the "big house" of Scientology in Sussex, England. It's massive. I don't think he'll ever marry again, and I feel he's so deeply entrenched in this cult that even if he wanted to get out, he couldn't. Just a hunch.

The title of this thread made me lose interest. Is this still part of their supermonster shared universe action concept? Or did they go back to horror?

Another movie where he's not a "leading man."

Okay.

I wont watch the movie now, because Tom is in it either. I all ready know how it will go.. Tom will end up saving the world. I think its a requirement for his future history logs so they know who to bring back.

Which one will he get out of first; Scientology or the closet?
