It seems to be succeeding in something that TFA failed to do: Remaining essentially STAR WARS while being different.
In spite of the time setting and associated elements, it doesn't scream "Here's everything you want to see in a Star Wars film...and more!"
Except for the AT-ATs. That was the only part of the trailer that seemed off. Never understand the appeal of those dumb things.
