It looks like it's set in the 70's.

The trailer sort of reminded me of 2014's Godzilla trailer where they teased the monster's immense size.

Hopefully this one will be better than that one.

2019 or 2020 depending on when Godzilla's sequel gets its date due to Garrett Edwards leaving the project.

I would love to see Godzilla vs. Kong. I was kinda thinking to myself if that would ever happen or not. I guess, we'll wait and see.

This Kong looks a helluva lot bigger than Namoi Watt's Kong.

And the best part was they pulled a Godzilla and didn't show the monster that much in the trailer.

Nope, they didn't. I'm all in with this one. Looks pretty cool.

Knowing the Godzilla movies, we will most likely get to see King Kong twice or so in the movie itself.

The production values looked good and John Goodman and Samuel Jackson should give it some high camp. The Godzilla movies have reeked, though. We'll see.

I assume you two are referring to the American Godzilla movies? The one from the 90s was Godzilla In Name Only (I call it Geckozilla, and they showed him/her/it quite a bit).

Godzilla (2014) is a good movie, and I say that as a fan of the Toho movies.
