Not a huge Kong fan, but I love the jungle adventure stories. Congo has always been one of my favorites, though I know a lot of people hated it.

Just never interested in seeing animals hunted down like that. Man's bs in a nutshell. Didnt want to see that whale movie with Helmsworth either.

Kong...not a real animal. Never could be a real animal. You're wasting your bleeding heart.

The Helmsworth movie was based on real events and the whale attacked a ship. The whale was not an innocent bystander in the event.

Wasn't wowed by the earlier trailers but the recent ones looked pretty good.

I like unpretentious sci-fi monster type movies and the CGI looked very good in the trailers.

Definitely a must see this coming week, in 3D

I've just seen the movie. They flipped the Kong story on its head. You have nothing to worry about.

Won the box office weekend, but some say it underperformed.

Took my 12 yr old Grandson and his 90 something Great grandmother ( who hasn't missed a Kong since the very first ) A good time was had by all.
Surprising that the Sunday afternoon theater was not even half full.
Besides the usual long begining set up that all Kong movies have,it was a fun ride all the way. No need to dissect it for you, just grab your popcorn and enjoy. Story clipped right along,no bathroom break time.
They did a great job at convincing me I was watching a Real "monster" and those eyes! He looked like he had a soul, lol. One quibble, he walked too upright.
Great Grandma was very teary at the ending credits, some heartfelt Memories for her.
Enjoy.
