I wrote previously that the main actors is in this are the type we normally see as the man behind the man behind the man one line dialogue type of extras in previous big screen epics when they were worth doing.
I'm admittedly biased. The 1959 Ben Hur movie with Charlton Heston is one of my all time favorite movies and I have no interest in watching this remake, at least until it comes to TV, if it ever does.

As I said, Ben Hur is one of my favorite movies of all time. Not because of the chariot scenes but because of the movie as a whole. Because of the story that's told and the way that it's told. I've never seen El Cid.
A movie marathon like that would have die hard fans going bananas. King Kong is a bit jealous though, Overheard him at the bar sharing a beer with Godzilla talking about it.
