David Caruso was a young 26 year old deputy! He had a small role in "An Officer And A Gentleman." IIRC it was released a few months before Rambo-First Blood.

Awesome film!

No other movies like this even come close...want some fun watch it with no sound. It's basically a horror film.

Thoughts?
I've always enjoyed watching all of the Rambo movies. Its difficult to compare similar movies to Rambo because as you said they don't even come close. I'm a fan of Stallone and I don't think he have any movie that disappointed me. However, I may have not watched all of his movies yet lol. Anyways, Rambo is a MUST WATCH if anyone out there haven't seen it yet.

Back there I could fly a gunship, I could drive a tank, I was in charge of million dollar equipment. Back here I can't even hold a job parking cars.

He was also in Thief of Hearts (1984) and the 1980 sci-fi film Predator ripped off, Without Warning.
