Herschell Gordon Lewis, maker of "Blood Feast", "2000 Maniacs", and "She-Devils On Wheels", died Monday at the age of 87.

About 10 years ago, my wife and I went to the Bengies Drive-In to see "2000 Maniacs". Mr. Lewis made an appearance there and addressed the crowd before the showing of the movie. He made his arrival in a hearse.
