Side note, the blind man (Stephen Lange) was the bad guy Miles,n Avatar. Plays a great bad arse.

We were wanting to see a scary movie tonight, but wife hates knives and gore. Can we go see this one?

There is little gore. Very little.

And this film pulled off suspense, scares and interesting characters without that. Many horror films resort to gore while not delivering a good story.

The home invasion horror genre is scary as its something that happens in real life. The Strangers, People under the stairs and a recent one I saw called Intruders were great also. Intruders had a great story as well. I recommend it.

I waited a little too long. It is no longer being shown at theaters in my area, but I will watch it on DVD or order it when it is available on my cable pay movie channel. I also liked The Strangers.

I finally saw this movie. Ordered it from the cable movie channel list at home last night. It was an intense, suspenseful, well done film. Lange was very good in his role. I like the home invasion genre type movie. Prefer those with less gore like this one. (Will have to rent The Intruders sometime soon).

It was quite frustrating to watch actually, because it made me wonder why the victims are so stupid they don't run faster, or they are whispering too loud etc. lol. Overall there's plenty of suspense in this movie that'll drives you nuts.
