I am curious to see this movie. My father's brother was captured by the Germans at Dunkirk in 1940. He spent five years as a prisoner of war.

I'm looking forward to seeing this at the Hollywood Theatre in Portland, Ore. next week. They're showing it on 70mm film.

Anyone else going to see it on 70mm or IMAX?

Dear god. The reviews just came out on rotten, its at a 99% approval rating. Some critics are calling it the best war movie of the last decade, and Christopher Nolan's best film.

The true story behind Dunkirk is more amazing than the movie itself I think.

It appears that the movie eliminated some important religious themed events, even though the legend of Dunkirk was in fact based heavily on religious themes and divine intervention.

Definite must see though, a conventional movie by an unconventional movie director.

The movie looks amazing! It seems as though we can finally get a real cinematic experience with this. Great job, Nolan!
