Movies I hate:

LOTR and Hobbit franchise
Hunger Games series
Divergent series
Mazerunner series
Twilight Franchise
Any superhero movie not apart of the dark knight series.. wish the entire genre would go away
All Tyler Perry movies
Anything with Channing Tatum in it (except Haywire where he gets torn up)
The Hateful Eight

- Star Wars
- Lord of the Rings (I don't get why people love these movies)
- Atonement
- The English Patient
- The Remains of the Day (are you seeing a pattern with these last three?)
- Manchester by the Sea - watched it last night, the most boring 2 hours and 17 minutes.
- Titanic
- Twilight (all of them)
- The Stepford Wives (remake)

I am going to add:

Moana. I thought this was such a boring movie. Everyone kept telling me how great it was and it was so empowering to little girls and how I would love the music.

Well, other than the animation (which was absolutely beautiful)...I hated this movie.

A movie has to be believable for you to enjoy it?

Boy, Oscar time brings out the grouches doesn't it?

Oh, well, here's my list of deplorables:

---Anything directed by Martin Scorsese. And I'm a New Yorker too. To me his movies are over-the-top, patently brainless, and painfully obvious, making all his directorial talent nearly worthless in my book.
---Any movie directed by Michael Bey. You seen one robot blow up, you seen 'em all.
---Star Wars. Enjoyed the first three when I saw them. Never have to see any of them again.
---Any movie whose main character is a comic book hero. I am not 10 years old anymore.

My husband made me watch his favorite movie, Top Gun. I hated it. Thought it was so boring!

Oh, and Anchorman. I made it about 10 minutes and had to turn it off.

Most Spielberg films that don't involve Indiana Jones, and two of those are pretty rubbish also.

Lord Of The Rings... zzzzz!

The Matrix, and by extension, anything with the Wachowskis' name on it.

Anything involving The Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger or James Cameron. Except Aliens.

Robert Downey Jr's Sherlock Holmes movies. I grew up with Jeremy Brett as Holmes, and no-one else comes close. Certainly not an American.
