I've seen recent media coverage of one of my most hated movies, apparently there is some anniversary of it coming soon.

Love Actually

Wife and I were visiting London and went to the cinema with some local friends. I was sitting at the end of the aisle and my wife caught me mimicking slicing my wrists and spurting blood.

Fortunately when we left I found our British friends hated it too.

I didn't really enjoy Avatar. It did well with critics and was a huge success with movie goers, but I thought it was just OK.

"The Silence of The Lambs" and "The Shining" are two popular movies I should have liked but didn't. "The Silence of The Lambs" was boring, to me, and it shouldn't be. I usually like that type of subject movie. I'm thinking maybe it was too talky to suit me. I don't know why I didn't like "The Shining." I just didn't.

I didn't like these that I'm pretty sure were popular:

The Lord of The Rings (The first one)
Inception
Star Wars: Return of The Jedi

I really really, really didn't like:

Annie Hall
Shakespeare In Love
American Beauty

Normally, I wouldn't go see the latter 3 movies but the Academy Awards given to them tricked me into suffering through them.

I haven't seen a lot of popular movies and probably never will because I know I wouldn't like them.

Anything with Channing Tatum in it (except Haywire where he gets torn up)
The Hateful Eight
Why would you watch the Twilight series or the Hunger Game series or the Lord of The Ring series if you didn't like the first one? Or why keep seeing Tyler Perry movies?

Avatar, LOTR, pretty much every Robin Williams movie, I'm sure there's more but the number one is As Good As It Gets. I have no idea how people got oscars for that. I hate that I even typed it now. It's terrible.
