Just so that I'll be on record, I'm going to go ahead and say that BR:2049 will be a top 5 movie of 2017.

Harrison Ford is past it and has become, well... sort of an old crank and a borderline douche. So that's one strike against it. Two strikes, its just a money making grab and these " blockbuster remakes and sequels" have been pretty much dead creatively the last few years.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to try to rescue this tortoise that's been flipped on its back.

Harrison is barely in the sequel, and this is by no means a guaranteed money-maker. The first movie was a box office flop.
