Usually Franco is a deal-killer for me. But I'm more curious to see Smollett in a film. So, I'll hold my nose.

I'm actually going to see this on opening weekend with a group of friends. Really feel like seeing Covenant on a big screen with people I can talk about it with afterwards over drinks and dinner.

Just be glad it isn't one of the Baldwin's!

Two weeks!!!! I'm super excited!!! *happy dance* I've been a huge fan of Alien and Aliens since, gosh, middle school. I enjoyed Prometheus, but understand the criticisms.

Huge fan of the original films, I'm with others, Prometheus was so, so, I was disappointed, I'm trying to work up some enthusiasm to see this one, but, so far, I'm just not feeling it from what I've seen of the trailers. Still, I may go to see it anyway being a die hard fan.

The best part of Prometheus was the ending credits.

Based on the trailer, I will be happy to avoid it.
Save some $$$ and time.

I wouldn't say Prometheus was great. But I do appreciate that they tried to go in a different direction than we original Alien(s). And I enjoyed the fact that they were actually trying to build a actual mythos behind the alien franchise with in the movies.

I'm going to go see it, granted with some hesitation.
I just don't want another alien or aliens film. I'd like something That will expand the mythos of the alien's and engineer's universe. Granted you can definitely Throw in some action. But a run for your life from the alien(s) movie has already been done ad nauseam.

Im going to watch but it still seems like a "we were on a mission to do this but then something went wrong" sort of movie. The alien(s) taking a bunch of unsuspecting people by surprise has been done enough.
