The top ten movies included a range of genres, from romantic drama (Casablanca, #2) to science fiction (2001: A Space Odyssey, #4) to comedy (This is Spinal Tap, #6), and spanned across several decades. What they all seem to have in common is that they’re considered classics, and they’re popular films that tons of people have actually seen — just maybe not as many as you think. A reported 30% of respondents admitted to having lied about The Godfather, which suggests that a good chunk of the people you know who claim to have seen the film may not be telling the truth. [more]
Pretty bloody stupid to lie about seeing something!!

I dont do that.... If I dont like something,I SPEAK UP ABOUT IT!! (I dont lie to make others happy, etc)

How strange! The only one of those movies I've seen is Casablanca, and that's the truth! I did start watching Goodfellas once, but stopped after the first 10 minutes or so. I could tell it wasn't my kind of movie.

How did Amazon Women From Mars not make the cut?

Oh, these are movies people lie about having seen not about not having seen.

I've seen them all. As noted most are considered classics for one reason or another.

I've seen them all except for Casablanca and This is Spinal Tap. Of those I have seen, they are all great movies, except for 2001, which is great art but not a great movie.

1. The Godfather - have seen this several times over the years it is a really good movie
2. Casablanca - saw this several times as a kid my mom loved old movies
3. Taxi Driver - have seen a few times overrated in my opnion
4. 2001: A Space Odyssey- have seen a lot the ending doesn't make sense.
5. Reservoir Dogs - have seen is a good movie but Pulp Fiction is better.
6. This Is Spinal Tap -have seen it's pretty lame the sound seemed too loud like it was turned up to 11
7. Apocalypse Now - have seen pretty good movie but there are better war movies
8. Goodfellas have seen good movie..funny how?
=8. Blade Runner - saw a lot as a kid my friend had it on laser disc and we watched it a lot.
10. The Great Escape have seen only remember the motorcycle scene.
