Here is one movie that has been and will be here ultra-famous years after years.
Finland will fill this year 100 years as an independent state and to celebrate 100 years, new version will be launched (third version)
That movie is "Unknown soldier" ("Tuntematon sotilas").
First version, 1955 (with English subtitles)

Second version,1985 (with English subtitles)

Alternative version as an short film (with English subtitles), maybe there also will be full movie in future, hope so !

Interesting. I want to see the 2017 version. I've grown to loathe just about any American film about the WWII European Theater and the unfair, unrealistic, and downright ludicrous depictions of German peoples. So, I'm always interested in seeing foreign films, and the 2017 version has piqued my interest.

I found article from newspaper that 100% realistic movie was goal to the director of this film.
Example before shooting some scenes, where soldiers are totally exhausted, director make actors to jump, run and etc. so that they really were dead tired, not just acting to be so.
Also actors did not had nice hotels where to spend time, they had only woods where they were 80 days, living like soldiers on that time.
One actor even got mental problems when shooting movie so realistic as possible, also some others wanted out of contract.
Maybe it is wrong to say that they did movie from war, instead of movie they did small war ant that war was filmed like movie.
Length of this movie is 3 hours.

The premiere of The Unknown Soldier is in 2017

I liked the Stanwyck movie--Clifton Webb was always such a good bad guy...

There is The Debt (2007) - IMDb and then, there is The Debt (2010) - IMDb

Personally, I prefer the first one. Why?

Since the cast is unknown to me, it is all about the movie. In the second version, the cast are all big names and the story is lost.
