I admit that "David Gordon Green" and "Danny McBride" don't exactly fill me with confidence, but Carpenter's endorsement is encouraging. So hey ...

Wow. That really makes me wonder if Danny McBride has ever even seen the first HALLOWEEN movie. If so, he seriously misunderstood the brilliant ending.

Are we being punked? Or is this a train wreck in the making?

I don't want to jinx it....but.....train wreck in the making sounds about right. I really just wish that Carpenter would take back his baby and do it right. Forget everything from 3 and on (even though I love 4,5 and 7) and start where 2 left off. Give Michael Meyers the story he deserves.
