I used to watch Robert all the time on TCM back in the 90s and the early 2000s. Also, he always seemed like a really nice guy. Plus, as the article said, he started off as an actor, and one time during the the early 2000s, I could have sworn that I saw a young Robert Osborne on "The Beverly Hillbillies" and tried to search for that on the internet with no avail. However, before posting in this thread, I looked him up on IMDB and sure enough I saw his credits for TBH.

Robert Osborne - IMDb

But may he rest in peace.

TCM has launched a beautiful short tribute to him, "TCM Remembers," in-between movies. They announced that they are going to have a Robert Osborne 48-hour tribute, I believe it said March 18-19. The young Saturday host Tiffany Vasquez also just spoke about Osborne.

Two RO retrospectives running today on TCM: Private Screenings, and his 20th anniversary.
