Regardless, I did like this movie, very much.
So, can you explain to justmike77 what happened?

Yes! I bought that book, got to maybe the 3rd page & ended up giving it to a friends girlfriend. Just could not get it.

Also, "Blue Velvet". After watching that I was like, huh? I ended up calling my ex in CA to have him explain it to me, lol.

Mulholland Drive. Although I really enjoyed it, after watching five times I still can't figure it out.

Abandoned 2010

This was one of those movies (probably made for tv) that I ended up going WTF when it ended. Just did not make sense at all. I guess I understood what the plot was, but it really didn't make any sense and left me thinking they lost a few pages of the script and just decided " Oh well...keep going".

The Comfort Of Strangers. I was quite impressed by this movie not sure why, it was intriguing but really strange story.

The Sense of an Ending--
Saw it today with 2 others and we all agreed that at least one important part of the plot was not explained by end of the movie--
It is intertwined story of man and his younger self and mistakes they both make--
Good acting--
Most of the script is cogent but there is one thing that just allows too much speculation--
And that makes it unsatisfactory...

Closer with Natalie Portman, Jude Law, Julia Roberts, et al. Hated every minute of it. The wife and I stuck it out to the very end hoping there would be something redeeming about it. There wasn't.

That movie was "understandable" but not enjoyable--
Like you thought it was the worse movie those actors had been in up to that point...

Same here. I'm still convinced my husband only liked it because of the sex scene.
