It was good. For some reason The Accountant came to mind, which I would rate slightly above AB.

Spoiler
I liked the Hitchockian plot (see The 39 Steps), and of course, the McGuffin.

Great movie. Well acted and filmed, a twisty plot and some really raw in your face action. Fans of John Wick, Salt and The Account will certainly love it.

Oh, and the soundtrack! Always nice to see John Goodman. And Toby Jones.

I actually see this as a female version of John Wick rather than James Bond. Not sure why.

It was okay. Excellent soundtrack. I liked the way it was filmed. Charlize Theron was great. Feel like they could have done more with this movie.

I was tired and fell asleep. Missed at least 30 minutes. What I saw was great.

I haven't seen the movie but from the trailers all I saw was a John Wick Jason Bourne. Or the type of role Angelina Jolie used to do, even if she is only a year older. Nothing I saw suggests a "shaken not stirred" type of character beats that James Bond gets so I was wondering why it is mentioned in the text but not shown in the promotion

I think it's b/c the Atomic Blonde character, like James Bond, is an MI6 operative. However, the style of the film and, as you point out, the ethos of the character reminds me of John Wick, although the AB character is not an assassin-for-hire like Wick.

Supposedly, there is going to be a sequel, so maybe they will do more with the character in the second film.
