In Nyc a regular movie ticket is $16.

I don't like 3D or iMax so I don't know how much those are.

Well I live in Bulgaria and the regular movie ticket is $7.50 for a 3D film and around $4 for a 2d.

It is so seldom that we go to a theater that I have no idea what a ticket costs now.
IIRC, the last time we went I didn't get much change back from a $10 bill.

Charlotte:
Tickets for shows before noon are usually $5 and some change, but there aren't a lot of theatres that will have 10:00 a.m. shows.

More typically, the fee is about $10.50/ticket for a 2D showing, regular Adult. Senior/Student/Military might be a dollar less.

Raleigh, NC:

All theaters, All Tuesday, about half price.
$6-8 Daytime (aka matinee)
$10-13 after 6pm

There's an old, small-seat theater that shows older moves for $2.50

We usually go on Tuesday when a movie + a small popcorn is $5 all day. Otherwise matinees are $5 and evenings are $7.50.

Eh I hardly ever go to cinema. I think a ticket in Taipei is like $8-10, and $12-14 if you get popcorns and soft drinks.

At the art house cinema (aka smaller ones) it's like $6-8 iirc.
