This is a spin-off from the Which actors do you think are consistently good AND consistently choose good movies? thread because I was curious about which of the newer or relatively newer movie actors and actresses that people find interesting. And what I mean by newer or relatively newer actors and actresses, are those who have began to appear in significant roles in significant movies within the past 20 years. Therefore, which newer or relatively newer actors and actresses do you think have been choosing significant roles in significant movies... or who seem to have begun choosing significant roles in significant movies?
Naomi Scott should be considered if she keeps up what she was able to do in Saban's Power Rangers as Kimberly. She also had a small role in The Martian.
RJ Cyler Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Saban's Power Rangers and Netflix's War Machine.
Matthias Schoenaerts
Belgian actor. I've seen him recently in Far from the Madding Crowd, A Little Chaos, and The Danish Girl. He's been cast in a series production of Lewis & Clark, alongside Casey Affleck, but frankly, I'm doubtful it's ever going to get off the ground.
Rebecca Ferguson
I first saw her in The White Queen. Then I saw her in Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation, and I thought she was sensational. She was the best part of that movie for me, so I'm glad she's going to be in the next one, too. Most recently, she was in Life alongside Jake Gyllenhaal
Eva Green
I think she's a good actress, but beyond that, she's just mesmerizing to me: her looks, her carriage, her voice.
Mads Mikkelsen
His performance in TV's Hannibal was so chilling and outstanding that it completely supplanted all other actors' portrayals of Hannibal Lecter.

How do you personally define "significant" ? By box office, what critics say, somewhat bogus barometers(the Oscars,)or your personal choices?
