He is not a believable hero anymore because he supports market economy. He cannot save anyone and he betrayed me by acting a hero before. He is a cheater and a liar, he will not be back in my DVD-player ever again!

Add to it that when you already own the rights, you've saved a big part on the budget.

As it is, I stopped watching the franchise at T2; I just didn't see any other place they could go from there and leave one with a good feeling when they stepped out into the sunshine.

Schwarzenegger Films Terminator 6 In 2018 | Screen Rant

Quote:
It would appear that franchise mainstay and frequent lead actor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be returning for Terminator 6, with the start of filming scheduled for 2018. Following the less than warm reception greeted by Terminator Genisys in 2015, series creator James Cameron has come forward to help develop a new trilogy of films that will reportedly reinvent the franchise.

Schwarzenegger is 70 now. I think he was too old in Terminator 3 and that movie is 14 years old.

Arnold has not aged well, at all...

While I loved the Terminator series, methinks he should let it remain forever immortalized with him holding a thumbs up as he's going down into a fiery lava pit....

Just sayin'...

This sounds like the Star Wars prequels and the Prometheus series, an attempt by the original creators to expand old movies in unnecessary ways.

No, AS has not aged well at all! *LOL*

He looks like every other formerly roided out body builder that looked great in their 20's through say 40's; but now in his 70's resembles a deflated balloon.

Similar to what happens with females who bear too many children; the body never comes back after being stretched out.

The two reining "older" action/super hero stars (Tom Cruise and Robert Downey, Jr. are only in their middle fifties. Still not exactly young by any standard, they are still twenty or so years younger than AS; and have worked at keeping their *figures*. Neither were bulked up which makes things a bit easier.
