I'd actually like to see a remake of the "Indiana Jones" films set back in the 30s. Keep Harrison Ford well clear of it, but they have that actor who does greatly resemble him in his youth. They could do a Japanese Empire inspired film with them as the bad guys replacing the Nazis, or a moslem inspired one with efreet or djinn or ghuls or something.
But Star Wars is eating itself like a zombie. Which is what the franchise has become, a lifeless mindless husk feeding on itself. Modern Star Wars fans do resemble walkers to a certain extent, come to think of it.

The 'Disneyfication' of Star Wars began long, long before Disney got control of the franchise.

It began in 1983, when the first Ewok waddled out of a forest on Endor. I'm pretty sure the Force-Ghost of Walt himself was smiling at that moment.

I'm pretty sure they are working on a new Indy movie with Harrison Ford

Still find it strange that nobody seems to mind the Disneyfication of Marvel. Isn't Baby Groot even more egregious then porgs or ewoks?

Not really. For one, GotG isn't so much he Disneyfication of Marvel as it is the STAR WARSification of Marvel. And GotG is very tongue-in-cheek from the get-go. It's a comedy as much as it is an action flick.
