They revealed logos for all the movies, including Flashpoint (no director announcement, though) and Green Lantern [ Corps] (ditto).
They showed Aquaman footage but that has not been made available to the public.
New Justice League trailer (of course, see that thread).
Shazam and Batgirl will both film next year. Still no word on Man of Steel 2.
And most importantly, Ben debunked that silly rumor started by The Hollywood Reporter.
Also, the Harley Quinn vs. Joker movie was another rumor that got debunked. Whew!

So nothing new and exciting. I'm not sure of Shazam! without The Rock as Black Adam though. I'm still meh on the DCEU movies going forward.

So Joss is off to ruin another beloved character. I anticipate lots of false pathos hidden under quippy dialogue. I shall try to contain my excitement.

P.S. Wonder Woman 2 did get announced "officially," but we already know it's currently being penned by Geoff Johns, based on an idea by Patty Jenkins and Johns.
Quote:
Warner Bros. officially announced new movies at their Comic-Con Hall H presentation today by showing a slide of movie logos. The first should surprise no one — Wonder Woman 2 is on the way. Director Patty Jenkins hasn’t officially been announced yet, so they still must be working on her new deal.
The next new movie announced was a bit more surprising — The Flash movie is now Flashpoint, based on the 2011 comics miniseries by Geoff Johns. If you’re unfamiliar, here’s a description from Wikipedia:
Quote:
Flashpoint details an altered DC Universe in which only Barry Allen seems to be aware of significant differences between the regular timeline and the altered one, including Cyborg’s place as the world’s quintessential hero much like how Superman is in the main timeline, with Superman himself being held captive as a lab-rat by the United States government within an underground facility in Metropolis. In addition, a Thomas Wayne version of Batman, whose son Bruce Wayne is dead instead of him and his wife Martha (who becomes The Joker), spends his days “running Wayne Casinos” in order to help fund his vigilante activity.
|
Here’s the full list of movies that Warner Bros. teased with logos today at Comic-Con:
- Aquaman
- Shazam!
- Suicide Squad 2
- The Batman
- Justice League Dark
- Batgirl
- Green Lantern Corps
- The Flash: Flashpoint
- Wonder Woman 2
Noticeably absent are other movies that we’ve heard are in the works, including Gotham City Sirens, Man of Steel 2, Nightwing, and Black Adam. Perhaps those aren’t as far along as we previously thought.
|
I have to say it's odd they didn't give Nightwing a mention, because there's a director.

You know, it might actually be a much better project for him than the two Avengers movies. He likes writing and lensing girls who kick butt.

He likes it, but he's not very good at it. Have you seen his WONDER WOMAN script?

Parts of it, and yes, I'm glad that didn't become the movie.
But Batgirl's a very different character. He might have her shove the heel of her boot in a guy's Adam's apple. That would be neat.

I didn't like Wonder Woman and will only get a Blu-ray for my girlfriend. Suicide Squad was great for the zero issue open but it fell flat quick. Batman V. Superman has been the only DC movie in this latest slate I've loved. I may see JL in theaters but it will be a weekday cheap showing.
