So I’m urging you in the first paragraph of this review to just see it and save this review for later.
Opens today, and of course, it's not playing here.

Hopefully, david0966, who's in D.C. and sees all of the early release films, sees it and give us a thumbs up or down.

If discussing plot, please use the SHOW / HIDE (aka SPOILER) tags. Thank you. . .

Is this one a remake of the classic film from 1981-- starring such greats as Melvyn Douglas, Douglas Fairbanks Jr, John Houseman, and Fred Astaire?

It would be hard to top that one!

Five out of five stars for me. Some may find it too slow, but I never lost interest at all. Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara were both outstanding.
