Thought it was an alright movie. Didn't like the abrupt 1985 ending, Queen lasted for six more years after that. Would've thought that Freddie's last years would've made for a good ending

I have to ask, how? I finally saw it Friday in the "sing-a-long" edition and something that took me out of it was the time jumps of the movie seemed off to tell the story rather than be factual which for a biopic is not right. I mean "We Will Rock You" wasn't done in 1980 but a few years earlier also Queen did not break-up prior to Live Aid, only to come together for the charity show and Freddie didn't know he had HIV until 1987. These facts take me out of the movies.

It was never intended to be a documentary.

It has the approval of May and Taylor. Good enough for me.

No but it threw me off and annoyed me by it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who complains about historical inaccuracies in films. For me, there were too many or the jumps weren't explained like the Berlin party in 1980 and no take back to when they would have recorded "We Will Rock You" in about 1976. So either you had to know your homework or you were left to think it happened chronologically. That is my pet peeve.

I agree I mean my brother knocked Ago Rose seeing him in concert a few years back for sounding bad, but he sounded like that in the studio too.But I will agree that auto-tune is used as a crutch today.

Just watched a little over half on Plex. Gave up. While I love most of Queen's music, the movie had me liking Freddy Mercury even less than before I watched.
