I loved every minute. Recomend it...never boring.

After Live Aid they posted real photos of Freddy and XXX, who stayed with him to the end, with kitties...told when he actually died...showed photos of his real parents with him...a little of him in concert as the all the credits went by.
Freddie was much taller than Malik....but , of course, everyone is...LOL
I truly thought his teeth were not as prominent in real life. You can see in his real life photos.

Hard to recognize Mike Myers and Adam Leech from Downton Abby...but I did.
Mary, his girlfriend was a new actress for me.
Guys kissing...I think it happened twice!

Awards...I hope so... oh, clothing exact...cuz I was there then, too.

Thank you! Thats he part I really wanted to see too. Luckily there is Google!

I think the teeth definitely bothered me, they seemed much bigger than Freddie’s were.

Everyone else seems to love the movie. To me they left out major parts like Freddie’s brilliance and timing of them performing Live Aid.

I liked it. 9/10. It does not go without saying - awesome music. Even the band was good - including Joseph Mazzello ( Jurassic Park ).

I remember the LIVE AID show. MTV broadcasted the whole thing live, and I woke up at 4 in the morning to watch.

I saw it today and I thought it was pretty good. I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard Freddie Mercury speak so I don’t know if Rami actually sounded like him, but I think he did a good job with the role.

Totally enjoyed it
Malek captures the "persona" of Mercury as most people envision it
Especially since he died before many of the people who love his music were born...
Just an object less about artists (and anyone really) who can be so self-destructive because underneath it all, they lack confidence and the belief they ARE loved...

Re the teeth--
Malek has smaller frame than Mercury and his face narrows to smaller jaw--
Proportionally they do come across as more of an issue--because for Malek they are more pronounced

As someone pointed out in the credits afterwards there are clips of Mercury performing and you can compare their body sizes--
Mercury's head is more rounded and he has a bigger body frame
Malek's is much more triangular--
It must have been a pain for him to wear the prosthesis teeth...bet they hurt his jaw

This is article from 2013 Rolling Stone mag about Queen's Live Aid performance
Wikipedia also has good info re the acts and why some performers didn't show up
But according to the RS article Queen did "punch a hole in the sky" as Freddy vowed...

I do think Malek did a good job. It’s impossible to have the stage presence that Freddie did.

For the teeth they should have made them more proportionate to his face. Freddie has a huge mouth to keep all those teeth in!

I am astonished everyone but me loved the movie!

The reviews sound pretty good and that is good because my wife wants to go see this movie. We both like music by Queen but we usually wait until movies come round cable or netflix unless it is the Summer and we are hitting the Drive In.

We will probably go see it this week.

Just like to point out this runs 2 hrs 15 min plus trailers
I didn't feel burdened at any time by "too much", "too slow", "too overdone"
But that's my take
I thought it had an excellent pacing which is editing quality as much as script and directing...
but because it was not an action-laden movie that might not be appreciated...
