Like a lot of people, after having watched the Cobra Kai series I'm now feeling nostalgic for the film Iron Eagle. Has anybody here watched it lately, and if so, what did you think?

Way to make someone feel old. it was decent enough for what it was.

About the only decent part of that move was watching the Israeli Air Force fly around.

It was a fun movie to watch, good action and 'feel good', but you have to pretty much totally suspend your reality mode because it has so many things happen that wouldn't in the Real World.

Nah, this is one movie I've never had the desire to revisit. If you need a dose of Lou Gossett, Jr., there's only that movie An Officer and a Gentleman that he won Best Supporting Actor for.

Even by the low standards of late Cold War jingo-cinema, Iron Eagle was pointless and vapid.

I haven't watched Iron Eagle since I was in grade school. I remember loving the movie then, but I'm betting if I watched it now I'd be let down. So few movies from my youth hit the same chord with me as an adult. But when I was a kid, it was one of my favorites.

I watched the original "Red Dawn" the other day. I still think that's a decent movie, way better than the remake IMO.

Anyone remember the Clint Eastwood movie 'Firefox'? I remember loving it as a kid. I must have watched it fifty times on cable. I watched it on some streaming site a couple of years ago and boy, it didn't hold up at all.
