Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (theater, Sony, animation, Fox)

I was looking forward to this ... until I saw this trailer. The animation looks awful.

I honestly think this could be good. I mean if it is a "Spider-Verse" movie, i finally get what I wanted from a Spider-Man. I loved the Fox animated series version of "The Clone Saga" that had future elements from "Spider-Verse" except they all were Peter Parkers... I'm more excited by it than I was before seeing the trailer, even if I knew it was a Miles Morales movie...

Full trailer. The story actually looks good. But I just HATE the animation. Why is Disney --- the reigning emperor of animation in our galaxy --- consistently putting out such crap animation???

This isn't Disney, this is a Sony movie. Sony has full control over the non Spider-Man MCU movies (IE: Homecoming and its sequels.) The animation is OK, not theater feature level exactly, but I have seen far worse looking animation in the past few years.
