No.

Don't bother just got back from seeing it. Not worth the time or money the preview was the best part of it. Don't be a sucker for it.

I just said the same thing on another post lol.

The Witch is not a total waste. There is some good acting and a moody atmosphere. But there is almost a total lack of explanation of what is going on. And I kept thinking that in the right hands this could have been a much better movie.

The acing was good but I felt like I was missing the point of whatever they were trying to get across.

It was a really beautifully shot film, and did capture the sense of darkness and isolation and superstition that the family would have experienced. I don't think that it stuck the landing with the supernatural element.

Yeah, it was more of a psychological horror film but it just didn't work for me when I saw it.

It's 3rd to me of 2016 films for me out of three in-theaters (Zootopia and Deadpool being the others.)

I thought it a very good film. My son said it's for people who appreciated a film like "Birdman" which not everyone liked.
I thought it more an art film, very dark, well acted, authentic, period dialogue. I didn't know what was coming next. Glad I saw it.
Anyone recognize the obnoxious foul mouth friend from (British) "The Office",Finchy?

Now why would you say this to an entire forum of people who enjoy movies?
Different strokes.
