The end credits are already extremely long, but one credit that I have always thought was missing was the "who green lighted this movie" credit.

I imagine some of them might give themselves a "Producer" Credit, but I think it would be great to know which executive read the script and said "lets do this."

I like that idea. In the days of the movie moguls, it was fairly obvious. Now? Not so much.

I like that on older movies - the 1940s? - sometimes it would have the name of the studio production head.

You can kind of see the process in Robert Altman's The Player (1992). But I don't know who green lighted it, though they did the right thing.
