Off the cuff ... The Asphalt Jungle (heist noir), Kiss Me Deadly (the great whatsit), Double Indemnity (patsy noir), The Killing (horse-track noir), Out of the Past (Jane Greer noir) (and just sneaks in the cycle) Odds Against Tomorrow (robbery, race noir). All gems.
