I'm about Tom's age. I don't think he looks younger than he is, and he doesn't need to.

He looks great, and is in good shape FOR his age.

He's got the sagging eyes, crows feet, etc. of someone in their 50's who takes good care of themselves, but is after all, in their 50's. He has obviously taken care of his body, and has apparently not fallen prey to destructive addictions that ruin the looks of many in Hollywood, and he's still got that mega-watt smile, and that takes "years" off a person.

I think he loves to work, loves to entertain, (and manages to stay away from politics).

This movie made me laugh at moments that were not supposed to be funny, but I didnt expect good dialogue from a MI movie. Still, I enjoyed the laughs in a movie that was painfully long.

The cinematography and action scenes were very well done, of course. I still think these reviews are way overblown.

Pretty much the creme de la creme of action movies. Thoroughly enjoyable though watching Alec Baldwin go mano a mano with Henry Cavil (Superman) shocked me back to reality for a moment.

Only three people in the audience. Only grossed $61 million over opening week-end. Do people know nothing?

I'll see it again a few times. Good chance I'll pick it up on DVD. Definitely worth the well done 3D experience since they actually employed 3D almost every time I checked.

It's strange cause usually action movies get worse, when they have reached the sixth in the series, but maybe this will be pretty good.

Plus Tom Cruise does loot a lot better than Roger Moore did by his sixth Bond movie.

It was the biggest opening weekend of any MI movies.

Hubby and I always check out the Rotten Tomatoes app first...saw the good reviews and decided to go see it.

We saw it Tuesday night (our AMC theater has $5 tickets on Tuesdays so those are our movies days AND its always nice avoiding the big crowds).

We thought it was pretty good - action movies always seem so fake to me...I care more about character driven storylines more than senseless action but these actions scenes were pretty well done, I was impressed.

I have no need to see it more than once but it was a fun movie and I agree w/ those who said Tom looks great, he does!

Actors/Actresses who get too political are major turn-offs for me so if he's able to stay away from it, good for him!

I liked it, especially the supporting cast; Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Sean Harris (Prometheus (2012), Harry Brown (2009), '71 (2014)).

It is still number 1 this weekend, and could be on track to be the biggest box office grosser of the entire series.

What an amazing, amazing run this franchise has had, a testament to Tom Cruise' continued box office appeal after so many decades in the industry.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Weekend Wrap-Up
Going from 61 million to 35 million strikes me as a successful second week. Seems that the second week numbers are usually only 1/2 of first week numbers - if that. Sitting at 96 million this early isn't shabby.

Don't movies usually about double what the opening week-end is? Fallout will outperform that.
