Summer of 2018 is looking pretty strong in the box office department? (films)

Have not read anything confirming this but it sure seems like pretty strong movies and pretty strong numbers to back up the releases. With more blockbusters apparently lined up....Mission Impossible VI is bound to be a crowd pleaser.

By "summer" I mean starting around the end of April. Also, the year started off pretty strong with the unexpected huge success of Black Panther.

You wrote "unexpected huge success." There's only one way to interpret that.

You did not write "wasn't expected to outgross Avengers: Infinity War" domestically. There's no invisible ink, there.

You are ignoring the entire premise of the thread so you can quibble semantics. The almost unparalleled success of Black Panther was not expected.

Not sure why you're taking this personally.

Yeah, it was a bigger hit than everyone expected it to be. But it was never NOT expected to be another MCU hit. It was in the cards — its making more than the other origin films was a given.
