He gave 3 and a 1/2 stars to the original, which wasn't as violent and gory compared to the 2009 remake. The 2009 remake he gave only 2 and a half stars to.

Who says that? The 2009 changed a lot around, especially the villains backstory as well as the family's. The villains personality has been changed around considerably as well.

I feel like the baby tomato in Pulp Fiction's Fox Force Five joke, and need to ketchup.

Filmstruck has the 1972 version. Is it good?

I think the 72 version has some powerful moments for sure, but the humor could have been cut down as it seems out of town with the rest of it per say.

I'm surprised people say that the rape scene in the 2009 version went too far, when in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011), people applauded the rape scene for having the guts to show it done in a dark way.

What makes The Last House on the Left's rape scene any worse really?
