I know Lamarr was a super intelligent, fascinating woman. But I can't help it. I can't hear her name without this going through my head:

That would be very interesting and I certainly would look for it...

Another example of a documentary triggering a fictionalization.

I'll be curious to see Gadot made up to resemble Lamarr.

Gal sure is getting the work. Her agent's way better than Henry Cavill's. Gal's voicing a character in Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet. After Wonder Woman 1984, she'll be seen in Legendary's 2020 actioner Red Notice with Dwayne Johnson.

Henry Cavill's Nomis (with super-hottie Alexandra Daddario) has no release date.

Gal has had something recently that Henry hasn't: A really popular movie beloved by audiences. Henry Cavill has yet to make a movie that anyone (except for you) saw and went, "Wow! That was a great movie! I want more!"

He needs a breakout role.

If you take but a moment to step out of your DC hate-sauna, you'll see Henry is in a movie that is Wow!-ing people RIGHT NOW.

It's called Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Typical audience reaction:

"Starring Tom Cruise, that funny guy from Shawn of the Dead, and a very beautiful actress."

"And Superman. Don't forget the guy who played Superman is also in it!"

"Who?"

"Henry Cavill. The latest actor who played Superman. You know ... Batman vs. Superman? Justice League?"

"Yeah, those sucked. But I thought that guy looked familiar!"

---

And that is why Cavill isn't getting the recognition Gal Gadot is. He's been good in some good movies. But a true "breakout" role like Gal had in WONDER WOMAN or Stallone had in ROCKY or Ahnuld had in THE TERMINATOR or Harrison Ford has in STAR WARS or Russell Crowe had in L.A. CONFIDENTIAL or Willis had in DIE HARD? That role has yet to come Cavill's way. I know he was hoping Superman would be it, but the scripts betrayed him.

Trying too hard, dude. Everyone I know who's seen the movie has remarked positively about Cavill. (I haven't seen it.)

P.S. It's Shaun of the Dead.

I like Cavill too! Don't get me wrong. I even liked THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. remake he was in. I have nothing against the guy. But he has yet to find the role that will turn him into household-name movie star. It's too bad the Superman scripts were such duds, because the guy's looks were designed to play Superman.
