I came across this video the other day and thought I'd share it with those who enjoy the de-aging special effects that have been in movies lately.

Surrogate with Bruce Willis is chalk full of de-aging in the surrogates. While the "real thing" has aged horribly. Interesting movie though on the short side.

Just assumed they ran a "softening program" over the face.

I had never heard of this movie, but the previews look pretty good. Thanks for posting this, ColoGuy.

They had to de-age both Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2009).

Excellent example, CA4Now. And an excellent and classic movie.

Also, in this video, you could really see the CGI of the younger Brad Pitt.

But I had always wondered how they aged and de-aged him in the movie.

They need to take this technology back to "Braveheart" and do a job on the "teenage/early twenties" Mel Gibson. That was probably the roughest part of that movie.

Could you elaborate a little bit more? I've never seen Braveheart before.
