The trailer was underwhelming, but part of me feels like this is on purpose. Marvel knows what they are doing, and this film and character are supposed to be so important to the MCU that I wouldn’t be surprised if Marvel is setting people up to slowly release better previews and then deliver with a blockbuster. I wasn’t crazy about black panther’s teaser trailer and ended up loving the official trailer.

Although, I do kinda agree with some of the comments about Brie Larson. She didn’t really blow me away in what I saw, but it was such a short clip that I’m not going to judge her on that. Her superhero motions and action style (in the short clip) don’t look as good as other female superheros (Gal Gadot, Elizabeth Olsen, Scarlet Johansson, Zoe Saldana, etc), but again, we are working on very limited footage.

This is Marvel, and going by track record, you have to assume this will end up being a really good film.

I agree. She won an oscar for The Room. She is 28 but looks like she is in her mid 30s.

Also the HERo was cringey.

Also, i hate that they change Captain Marvel to a girl. They could have done a duo, Captain Marvel and Miss Marvel. I read that they are going to make Captain Marvel (jude law) into the villain.

That character change happened in 1977, let it go.

Based on the two trailers alone, it looks better than that piece of crap Shazam.

It remains to be seen if they will start with the first X-Men like The Avengers got close to (with the Black Widow while minus Ant-Man and The Wasp), or the most popular X-Men like the Bryan Singer movies did

We still won't see the mutants interact with any Avengers for a few. The sale isn't official (yet).

I really hope they do the classic X-men.

Xavier, Beast, Iceman, Cyclops, Jean, Nightcrawler and angel

Then add Storm, Rogue, Wolverine, Gambit in future movies.

The original line-up is Professor X, Beast, Iceman, Cyclops, and Jean Grey.

For the 1975 revamp, you need Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler and Thunderbird. (Banshee also appeared in the reboot that year with Issue 94.)
