You can't?

He was a murderer in Unforgiven, a rapist in High Plains Drifter, and an assassin in The Eiger Sanction.

I'm 65 years old, and can't remember a time before Clint Eastwood. I watched him in 'Rawhide' as a little kid, and then his Italian westerns as a young teenager. Sometimes, I see him turning up in a small part in 50s movies on the telly.

What a career he has had. I thought I'd seen his last movie as a star, yet here he is at 88 years old appearing one more time. He is a living legend. I will see this movie.

If you're going that route, don't forget The Beguiled.

Saw it today...it was GREAT!
I have comments, sure....doesn't matter ..see it!
Oh, and I knew the music would be fabulous since he is a jazz/blues connoisseur.
Didn't disappoint!

End of a living legend's career. He's made so many movie,s and all I can say is I've seen most (and at least a dozen when they came out in the theaters) and have always been entertained.

Saw this film yesterday. I was >ok<. A bit sappy.

The depiction of the cartel was way, way off. Not nearly as warm and fuzzy as shown in the movie.

Living in Texas, you know things.

Is the pace really slow like most of his movies since unforgiven?

Yes, but if you're an Eastwood fan I think you'll enjoy the ride. I've seen several unfavorable reviews of this film, but I think that Christy Lemire sums it up best, especially regarding actors Bradley Cooper and Michael Pena, and the lack of development of Eastwood's character. However, we weren't expecting to see Oedipus Rex, and thoroughly enjoyed the film.

Yeah, it was enjoyable...predictable, sure...but fun and poignant.
