What was so good about Rambo (2008)?

Rewatched it last night. I didn't care for some of the corny dialogue at the beginning of the film, but overall I liked it.

I'm not sure how I've managed to overlook a film that features both Ben Johnson and Richard Farnsworth in supporting roles for nearly 40 years, but now that I know it exists I'll have to check it out.
