I have Ben Hur ....Planet of the Apes ...and The Omega Man in my collection but I would have to say ....."Soylent Green" ...it's a classic .....Edward G Robinson has a death scene in it ....and Carlton Heston is not faking that tear in his eye ...he knew Edward was dying ...he died a few weeks after the film was completed ....classic line "Soylent green is people!"

Just what does this have to do with Charlton Heston movies? When I checked, the poll was about recent movies with numbers in the title (e.g. 3:10 to Yuma).

The Ten Commandments has to be my favorite. ABC used to show it every Easter but no more.

Sorry the poll changes every day -- the day I posted it was fav Heston movie. I think Ben Hur was first, then Apes, then Commandments.

They are ALL great. What made them good is the man, the actor himself. Top notch guy.
