I guess I'm the odd man out. I liked sixth sense and unbreakable bu i never could sit through signs and the village throughly pissed me off. I didn't see the lady in the water and i probably won't see this one either but i heard he's doing the adaptation of the Avatar. I hope thats true cause I love that cartoon hope you all enjoy the movie

I am right there with you. Besides the Sixth Sense I find his movies to be seriously lacking, however, I kind of want to see this one (the Happening) because it looks like it could actually be good.

All of his previews look good but then when you get to the movie it's always the ending that just gets me. Yes, I know there is going to be a twist - what we think we know we don't know - but at the end of The Village I was like "are you kidding me"

I recently saw Wicker Man (yes I know this is off subject) and had the exact same feelings. Maybe I just don't do well with suspense movies. The only one I can say I really really loved was The Others. That was an ending I did not see coming AT ALL.

I'm exactly the same - 6th Sense was good enough to keep me coming back and Unbreakable was good, too. After that...terrible and heading downhill.

I thought it was very interesting that the trailer advertised it as "his first R-rated feature" or something. Well, actually, maybe that will be good enough to get me and some others in the theater. Honestly, his last 3 movies are so much more dull than they should be, considering the subject matter. Maybe he needs to add in some R-rated stuff to his plots. It's odd for me to admit, but I probably would skip this new one if it was rated PG-13. I've had enough of his "horror/suspense/thriller light" films.
